RUD STUDENTS ENJOY MID-WINTER BREAK COLLEGE TOUR

Over the mid-winter break school holiday, Racquet Up 10th and 11th grade students traveled by bus to tour five colleges between Detroit and Washington D.C.!

Amy Zeiter, our Director of College Access and Success, alongside Chanelle Davis, our High School Academic Coordinator, traveled with twelve students on this fun and inspiring tour. Students visited the University of Pittsburgh, Dickinson College, Howard University, George Washington University, and Chatham University.

While in Washington D.C. students also had the opportunity to explore the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial. Students enjoyed this four day trip, and continued to bond with teammates and staff.

Thank you to Racquet Up supporters, staff, and the colleges we visited for making this inspiring trip possible.
