RUD’S FIRST CLASS OF STUDENTS ARE COLLEGE GRADUATES

In January 2011, when our first 5th grade participants embarked on their Racquet Up journey, we called them the Class of 2022. At the time, we were aiming to inspire by projecting so far into the future. We saw the potential in those young people to graduate from high school, get into college, and earn a degree. This spring, that potential has been realized. With five college graduates this year, and a bunch more coming next year, our prediction has borne out.

Desmon graduated from Lake Erie College, Ed and Tramara graduated from Albion College, Samantha graduated from Grand Valley State University, and Starnisha graduated from St. Lawrence University. In between joining Racquet Up and graduating from college, they traveled the country, volunteered in the community, made new friends, strengthened their academics, and played a lot of squash! Some even continued to play squash in college. Congratulations graduates! It has been incredible watching you all grow up and pursue your dreams.
