After nearly 11 years in various leadership roles within the organization, Rosemary O’Connor has been named Executive Director of Racquet Up Detroit. Ms. O’Connor has most recently served as Chief Programs Officer of the groundbreaking youth development program, and will eventually assume the full leadership role succeeding current President & CEO, Derek Aguirre.

The Double Down remains a testament to the collective effort and dedication of our exceptional team captains and players, whose leadership and enthusiasm continue to drive the success of this annual fundraiser.

Since inception, Racquet Up’s countless supporters have championed the mission- few as passionately as George Haggarty.

In January 2011, when our first 5th grade participants embarked on their Racquet Up journey, we called them the Class of 2022.
